Extended hours and increased services for customers

As part of our continual improvement process in delivering high quality customer service to Medtech32 users, we have recently appointed two technical support consultants to our help desk. Both consultants are Microsoft Certified Engineers and have previously worked in the healthcare technology sector. They bring with them a wealth of technical experience and familiarity with medical practice requirements.

In addition to increasing our technical expertise, Medtech is also extending the operating hours of its customer services team to better meet the needs of our customers. The customer service team will now be available from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Medtech is committed to its customers and welcomes suggestions to continuously improve its services. Suggestions may be emailed to: nzsupport@medtechglobal.com or faxed to 0800 633 832

A quick and easy way to move into proactive patient care

Medtech’s new Clinical Audit Tool (CAT) can assist GPs and healthcare providers in leading a shift from reactive patient care to proactive population based patient care by quickly and simply analyzing large volumes of patient data according to a variety of filters provided. It assists with reporting to the PHO, and enables the practice to gain a deeper understanding of their patient population i.e. disease profiles, to enhance patient management.

The CAT tool is fully integrated with our Medtech32 practice management system and helps in provision of improved data quality and efficient patient record management by identifying incomplete patient records and analyzing, and evaluating, the quality of care across the patient population. Text appointment reminders to patients now available

Is your practice affected by “do not attend” or late patients?

Medtech32 now has a facility which allows the practice to automatically text patients a reminder of their upcoming appointment. This service is fully configurable to individual practice requirements. Research has shown that appointment reminders reduce “do not attends” or patient lateness.

The service is available through our ManageMyHealth™ SMS product which fully integrates with Medtech32.

Moving or merging your practice?

Considering merging your Medtech 32 database with another practice involves planning. When you are considering moving your practice please add “contacting Medtech” to the top of your list to ensure an optimum transfer and data merge.

To ensure that your data is transferred and merged accurately, intact and on time, we require at least 8 weeks notice.

During this time we will work with you and make recommendations on how your practice data should be merged, together with advice on what to do if you are splitting the database. It is important to consider the long term effects of a database split and merge such as capitation based funding and potential audit and compliance issues. Read More...
