It has been a busy quarter for Medtech, with a number of new releases and updates. We also attended several conferences recently including HIMSS, GP11, GPCE, AAPM and AGPN where we had the opportunity to showcase our products and catch up with customers and channel partners.

We are also currently undertaking a review of processes to enable smoother releases and better communications.

Our VitelMed pilot program is well underway in partnership with an Aged Care facility, with great feedback. 

RX version 6.0 will be ready for release on 15 December 2011 and includes a range of new features including a Clinical package integrated with Medtech32, which will significantly enhance the capabilities of your practice in clinical areas. With RX integrated with Clinical Link, you will now have a very powerful PMS to manage your practice.

RX Tip - Generating a quotation for insurance or workcover

To generate a new quote, navigate to the Accounts screen, set the Debtor field to the insurance company or workcover authority, and press the Quote button.

Continue to add service items and fill in rest of the fields as you normally would. Once you have filled out the form, click Save. This will generate a quotation instead of an account (invoice).
