Our support services telephone numbers and office telephone numbers have remained unchanged. Customers will be able to call in as per usual. Please note that we are also in the process of updating our IT and telephony systems to help us improve our service to you.

Medtech Online

In order to provide our customers with real time access to the most up to date information about our products and services including release notes, frequently asked questions and other technical specifications, we are currently developing a new service - Medtech Online. All of our customers (including Rx, Medwin and Compudoc product users) will be able to report faults, make online support requests, training requests, purchase and pay online for licenses.

 

This service is currently in Beta testing and we expect to launch it at the end of August 2010.

Medtech Evolution

We are pleased to announce that our new generation practice management system – Medtech Evolution – developed in Microsoft .NET is now in Beta release. Evolution is a module based solution which provides greater flexibility in its interoperability and database options. Other features include enhanced appointment scheduling, advanced security options and clinical workflow. The look and feel is similar to Medtech32 to assist practices with transition. We are looking for practices to participate in our Beta testing programme. Features of Evolution include:

  • Variety of Deployment and Hosting Options including LAN, WAN, PDA or Tablet, PC or Laptop
  • Integrated Error Handling Functionality that classifies errors into common groups to enhance error resolution
  • Enhanced ability to easily integrate with third party applications like ERP and financial applications
  • Agile functionality providing a customizable platform for add-on modules plus facilitation of specialized bespoke modular development
  • Enhanced Security and Auditing functions that ensure confidentiality of patient data. Integrates with patient health and wellness portal for an enhanced relationship with the patient.
  • Integration with Personal Health Record via ManageMyHealth™

Medtech products on show at World Health Care Networks Conference

Medtech showcased its newest generation practice management system - Evolution - at the inaugural World Health Care Networks conference co-hosted by the Australian General Practice Network and General Practice New Zealand last week on 22-24 July, held in Auckland at Sky City.

 

We also demonstrated our latest solutions – Clinical Audit Tool (a practice population health management and data analyses tool) and ManageMyHealth™ (a clinical and patient portal and After Hours care tool). GPCE Conference

Staff Update

We have had some personnel changes in our Melbourne office over the past few months. There are several new staff appointments to our Melbourne office: Business Analysts – Andrew Norquay, and Rahul Dwivedi; Sales Executive, Devraj Karkera, and Office Manager, Sheetal Karkera.

 

We have also given careful thought to our organisational structure and are pleased to announce the creation of two new positions – National Sales Manager and Service Delivery Manager. We are currently in the process of recruiting for these roles and will announce the appointees in our next newsletter.

Medtech32 - Version 7.4 Release

As most of you will be aware we have released Medtech32 Version 7.4 over the past few weeks. We would like to remind practices that there are important updates to the Accounts and Clinical modules, so please upgrade as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

 

A reminder to practices in South Australia, the upgrade to Version 7.4 is required in order to ensure that you are able to continue to claim the SA Workcover electronically.
