It has been a busy quarter for Medtech, with a number of new releases and updates. We also attended several conferences recently including HIMSS, GP11, GPCE, AAPM and AGPN where we had the opportunity to showcase our products and catch up with customers and channel partners.

We are also currently undertaking a review of processes to enable smoother releases and better communications. 

Our VitelMed pilot program is well underway in partnership with an Aged Care facility, with great feedback. Medtech has been working closely with The National eHealth Transition Authority NeHTA on the release of GP desktop enhancements for Medtech version 8.1.0, which will allow healthcare providers to transfer information automatically.

In consultation with General Practice Victoria (GPV) and Department of Health and Ageing (DOHA), Medtech has added the PBS Close the Gap (CTG) co- payment measure to Medtech32 release 8.1.

PBS integration project

In consultation with General Practice Victoria (GPV) and Department of Health and Ageing (DOHA), Medtech has added the PBS Close the Gap (CTG) co- payment measure to Medtech32 release 8.1.

This will help to improve access to PBS medicine through co-payment relief, by providing assistance to eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) patients. Read more...
